Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu represents one of the Maldives’ most natural resorts.
This is an island with everything, lush jungle-like flora, sand paths and the azure warm waters of the Indian Ocean. To the front of the island there’s a beautiful wide white sandy beach.
There is an acclaimed Diving school on the island and the snorkelling on the house reef from the curved side of the island is excellent. The warm waters are home to manta rays year-round, and from June to November there’s the chance to spot whale sharks.
The islands resident marine biologist leads a group of guests out into the Baa Atoll to look for these fascinating gentle giants every Wednesday a treat not to be missed.
The resort’s Cowrie Restaurant is the large buffet-style dining room whilst a full à la carte menu is available at the Cornus Restaurant, with Maldivian, Thai and Indian specialties. Then the Cornus Grill you can enjoy freshly grilled seafood in a beautiful open-air setting.
Amid palm trees by the beach or on stilts over the lagoon the ultimate in privacy and indulgence. Beach Villas have a terrace leading towards the beach.
